"Intelligent Method to Determine the Grinding Fineness of Paint"




On the morning of July 6, the first standard-making meeting of the group standard "Using Intelligent Method to Determine the Grinding Fineness of Coatings" drafted by the Guangdong Paint Industry Association was held in BEVS.


Participating units: BEVS Industrial Co., Ltd., Guangdong Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute, Guangzhou Honda Automobile Co., Ltd., Guangdong Dekang Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., Guangdong Huabiao Testing Center Co., Ltd., Zhongke Testing Technology Service (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., ACTO Advanced Materials Co., Ltd.


This meeting is in accordance with the "Guangdong Province Coating Industry Association Group Standards Management Regulations" and the "Guangdong Province Coating Industry Association Group Standards Establishment and Revision Implementation Rules", and in accordance with the "2021 Guangdong Province Coating Industry Association Group Standards Preparation Plan" Request to convene.

Before the meeting, BEVS general manager Jackie Zeng led the association and industry experts to visit the intelligent laboratory, learned in detail about all kinds of intelligent testing instruments for coatings, and performed on-site demonstrations of the automate partical analyzer.


Chen Jinai, director of the Standards Alliance of Guangdong Coatings Industry Association, mentioned that this standard preparation is of great significance, and the two intelligent testing methods have achieved three firsts in the industry. This standard is read out and explained by BEVS engineer Shen Jianlong, and Director Chen Jinai provides guidance.

Lu Shuilie, secretary general of the Guangdong Paint Industry Association, took the lead in putting forward suggestions on the title of the standard, suggesting that it be changed to "Intelligent Determination of Coating Grinding Fineness". It is easy to see the scope of application of the standard, and then everyone issued their own opinions based on the in-depth discussion of the standard.

In the discussion of the preparation of the instructions, Feng Yan, an engineer from the Guangdong Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute, proposed that in the collection of experimental data, the company's time data can be widely collected to increase the repeatability and reproducibility of standard experimental data.

Finally, everyone reached a preliminary consensus on the discussion at this meeting and formed a new standard manuscript.

"Intelligent Method for Measuring Coating Hardness with Pendulum Damping"



On the afternoon of July 6, the group standard "Intelligent Method for Measuring Coating Hardness with Pendulum Damping" drafted by Guangdong Paint Industry Association was held in BEVS.


Honorary President Huang Kai of Guangdong Paint Industry Association, Secretary-General Lu Shuilie, Director of Standards Alliance Chen Jinai Senior Engineer, and participating units: BEVS Industrial Co., Ltd., Guangdong Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute, Guangzhou Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. , Guangdong Dekang Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., Guangdong Huabiao Testing Center Co., Ltd., Zhongke Testing Technology Service (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., and General Standard Technical Service Co., Ltd. Shunde Branch attended the meeting.


Before the meeting, BEVS gave the participants a practical demonstration of the use of the smart pendulum hardness tester.



This standard is read out and explained by BEVS engineer Shen Jianlong on the full text of the standard, and Director Chen Jinai provides guidance. Everyone discussed the name, scope, method, calibration, experimental procedure, language and wording of the standard, and finally reached an agreement and formed a new standard manuscript.
